LinkedIn has announced the launch of LinkedIn Pages, which the company is calling "the next generation of LinkedIn Company Pages."

Sparsh Agarwal, Product Lead at LinkedIn, made the announcement in a recent blog post.

LinkedIn Pages have been rebuilt from the ground up with the focus of making it easier for brands, small businesses, and institutions to foster active communities and conversations with employees, customers, and followers.

Admins can now post updates and respond to comments from the LinkedIn mobile app so that they can engage with their communities even if they are on the go. Pages can also be associated with hashtags, allowing them to respond to conversations around their brand or relevant topics. Admins can also strengthen their storytelling by having the option to share PowerPoint presentations, Word Documents, and PDFs.

The launch of LinkedIn Pages also brings forth Content Suggestions, a new feature that provides admins with topics and content trending with their target audience on the platform. Additionally, there is a new Career Pages section that is made up of a Life and a Jobs tab. Admins can utilize these to offer a glimpse into the company’s culture, job opportunities and what it’s like working at the company.

A new suite of tools is available to admins so that they can engage further with their employees. The tools allow them to discover and re-share their employee’s public LinkedIn posts, respond, and re-share any posts on Linkedin in which the company’s Page is mentioned.

Last but not least, LinkedIn is deepening its partnership with HootSuite and now teaming up with Crunchbase.  Thanks to new product integration, admins will receive notifications within Hootsuite when there is activity on their LinkedIn Page. Through the partnership with Crunchbase, LinkedIn Pages will provide visitors with funding insights and key investors, giving them a “more comprehensive understanding of a company’s business profile.”
