Metro Boomin Boominati Worldwide

Fresh off a new release with Drake and Offset titled “No Complaints,” Metro Boomin announces his own newly formed label Boominati Worldwide. The imprint will function as a partnership with Republic Records and Universal Music Group.

In a statement, the super producer says:

Launching Boominati Worldwide is the next step in my career as a producer an artist and business man. I created the label to represent a collective of highly gifted individuals who have shared gift of being able to influence the world through culture and art.

The launch of the label isn’t a surprise. During a February interview with GQ , he talked about starting his own label and following a similar path of influences Dr. Dre, Pharell, and Kanye West, each of who own labels. Besides releasing his own music through Boominati Worldwide, its expected that he will sign new artists in the near future. Metro has always aligned himself with quality talent so it will be interesting to see who he decides to ink to a deal.

We have yet to hit the midpoint of the year, but Metro can already call 2017 a successful one Five records that he produced have been in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100. They are Post Malone's "Congratulations," "Migos' "Bad and Boujee," Future's "Mask Off," Kodak Black's "Tunnel Vision," and Big Sean's "Bounce Back."

Can he add five more records?  I wouldn't doubt it. '

You can catch Metro on Bryson Tiller's Set It Off  Tour this summer. It kicks off August 3rd in Atlanta and concludes September 16th in Louisville.
